Generating Bulk Test Addresses as CSV and JSON

One test address is enough to try a form. Hundreds are needed to test imports, reports, pagination and search. Here is how to get useful bulk data from the generator.

Generate in batches

Choose a state and optionally a city, set the count to 50 and generate. Repeat across several states to build a mixed set. Every batch uses real city, state and ZIP combinations.

CSV for spreadsheets and imports

The CSV download includes columns for name, street, unit, city, state, ZIP, county and phone. Open it in a spreadsheet or import it into your CRM or database staging table. ZIP codes are quoted so leading zeros survive, but check your import settings: some tools still convert them to numbers.

JSON for code

The JSON download is an array of objects with the same fields. Drop it into a seed script, a mock API response or a test fixture folder.

Keep fixtures stable

Random data changes on every run. For automated tests, save one generated file and commit it, so tests always run against the same input. Generate fresh data only when you want exploratory coverage.

Mix in edge cases

Add a few hand-written rows for cases you care about: very long street names, units with letters, PO Boxes and military addresses. Combined with generated rows, this gives both realism and coverage.
